What does Stalker mean?

I know is as kind of net, but today I watched a movie called "Eternal sunshine of spotless mind" and in this movie the guy met a girl in a beach and gave her a rid home, in the car she asked him

(almost)
"you are not a stalker or anything right?"

then the guy said

"you are the one talked to me remember?"

then she said

"well that's the oldest trick in the stalker book"

"there is a stalker book?"

what does stalker mean here? or it was actually "stocker?"

A stalker is someone who follows another person closely, watches them from a distance... A generally creepy person who obsesses over one other person to the point that the person being stalked may take the stalker to court...
