FOR THE MODERATOR/S

Closed threads MUST BE DELETED. Or people can write a comment or DELETE them. There is not a reason closed threads are still here.
I think it's not difficult to understand.

I disagree. For instance, I don't think http://www.antimoon.com/forum/t8401-15.htm should be deleted. I think the irrelevant posts should be deleted and the topic unlocked, because the subject interests me. If the topic were outright deleted, this would not be possible because deleted threads cannot be brought back. Locking the thread instead at least gives me a chance to appeal.

And what gives you the authority to tell the mods what to do in such a condescending fashion?

Sorry, the link above should be http://www.antimoon.com/forum/t8401-0.htm

It should be reopened. I don't mind if they delete my posts. They weren't obscene, in fact, they weren't very different from some of the silly off-topic ramblings in the English forum.

http://www.antimoon.com/forum/t8401-15.htm is an idiot thread, just to say. This is just an example, why has this thread been closed? If moderators prevent people to join comments it is a useful thread. Why this thread has only those comments? Why I am obliged to read some idiocies without having the possibility to answer? There were many posts closed in this way. A reader who open this thread can read only FEW opinions of few people so it is very incomplete and give a distorted idea of the matter. We don't understand why it has been closed after only FEW comments while there are threads of 10 pages.

I can easily answer to the question title of http://www.antimoon.com/forum/t8401-15.htm: Yes, it is.

But that isn't an answer. What if I wanted to discuss what differences, if any, there are in the use of the subjunctive mood in Italian?

(And both of you linked to the wrong URL. I gave the correct one in the follow-up post. :P)

Being a closed thread you can't talk about subjunctive or anything else.
You are right, that's the core of the matter: so ask moderators why the thread has been closed.
