Multilanguage Song

I think there was a thread here some time ago which compiled scenes from The Little Mermaid in different languages. I was surfing youtube and stumbled upon this video of a small singing sequence from the Little Mermaid in 24 (!) different languages. I think everyone should see it, as it covers all the major languages discussed here, as well as some "exotic" ones like Croatian, Bulgarian, Finnish etc, which sound just terrific!

Enjoy!

and which is your favorite?

Wow. All languages sound beutiful when sung by woman with beautiful voice!

I didn't expect it. Strangely enough, Arabic was one of themost beautiful, I thought it would be the worst.

Are Austrian and Normal German so far apart that it's necessary to have different version?

Wow, Polish is very harsh sounding!

Arabic sounds not like Arabic...

At first I didn't think it sounded Arabic, more like a French-Spanish mixture, but then it becomes clearer that it's Arabic. Oddly enough I found the Canadian version didn't sound very French but many other languages did resemble some French sounds.

I am the only one who feels that some languages, like Spanish, Russian, Croatian sound more, um, clear than other languages? Like the vowels are all really clear and all...

Portuguese versions sound like a mix of Spanish and French.

Un jour viendra, je partirai, je partirai sans aucun regret... so beautiful and powerful! also sounds suicidal out of context.

Lol, after a while they all start to sound alike...

But my favorites are English, Arabic, Hungarian and Japanese.
Actually, my most favorite is English!

You know what would be totally awesome? If someone on this forum would make their version of the song in any language! I might try tomorrow, it's too late now.

Wow, I know I don't have the voice to try, but you are right, it's an awesome idea!
