Yeah, it would be a crap real name, wouldn't it??
Don't think anyone would take me seriously....
(not sure if they do anyway...) :-)

I can imagine people who are really called 'candy' but I think it's a bit too sweet ;-)
Eh, you do know 'Sander' is my real name?
Is it really?
I think Candy is a real name, but it's sickly....nice for a little girl, maybe. I chose it for a joke really! :) Some people I know called their daughter Poppy which is sweet, but can you imagine her ever being Prime Minister??
Yes it is, but this seems to pose a lot of problems for some people...
They call me 'SanderS' after some American chicking killer or think it's deriver from 'sand' ...
Is it short for Alexander, or an independent name? Is it popular in NL?
It's independant, it's not so popular, but there are people who're called Sander.
My real name has about 27 different spellings, and nobody ever ever gets it right.......:(
Possibly, via PM....but it'll have to wait till tomorrow....I'm off to bed in a few minutes as it's 10.20 and I have to be up before 6am!! :(
G'night all!!
"(BTW, spent last weekend in the Netherlands...great time!) "
Was it not boring?
<<Was it not boring? >>
No. I had a great time, as stated. I *like* the Netherlands a lot. (Going again for the weekend in 2 weeks).
"Adam's mum in Dundee"
You're right - my mum IS Scottish (I'm half English, half Scottish), but she used to live in Castlemilk, not Dundee.
"Oooh, in the Netherlands that must be quite some distance! At least....one hour!! (GASP!!)
(And I thought England was a small country!) :-) " England is about 5 times larger than the Netherlands. Britain is about 10 times larger. Us in Britain happily travel the equivalent length of the whole of Holland just to go and buy a newspaper from the shop. |
