How to respond during telephone call?

I need some help, because I don't know other ways of responding to "Nice to hear you" while telephone call than "Nice to hear you, too".
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Jen,

"It's nice to hear from you" means (in effect) "It's nice that you called me". Since only one person (the caller) makes the call, only one person (the respondent) says "It's nice to hear from you".

So I wouldn't myself think it necessary to respond. Instead, you can continue with the conversation.

Thus a possible dialogue might be:

"Hello, is that MrP?"
"Hello, Jen. How are you? It's nice to hear from you."
"I'm fine, thanks. I'm calling about XYZ..."

Best wishes,

MrP
