What the hell does "Suffering Sucatash" mean???

One longstanding American euphemism is "Jim Crow!" for the name in vain of the Christian savior. Especially in New England it sometimes becomes "Jeezum Crow!" (as my aunt from Maine says) or just "Jeezum!"

Following the dialectical tendencies of the Southern accent, below the Mason-Dixon line it becomes "Jee-im Crow!" (One would think that this euphemism originated in the South, since "Jim Crow" was of course the nickname for the institutional segregation system which remained entrenched there until the civil rights movement of the '50s and '60s, but since the expression is apparently also used throughout the country, it's hard to say.)

I still like how in one Simpsons episode Principal Skinner, when annoyed, once uttered, "G.M. Chrysler!" (In another episode Homer bought a food product from the supermarket called "Cheezus n'Rice".)
