<<Spanish is official in Puerto Rico. Puerto Ricans can travel freely to everywhere in US so Spanish will always be spoken in US. It would not surprise me if Cuba becomes an US state as well after Castro brothers die, what means more Hispanics in US.>>
You people are grasping on straws in a desperate attempt to make spanish a language of the U.S; its just not so, sorry.
It doesn't matter how many hispanics come to the United States, the result will always be the same regardless of how many come. Nothing will change.
In actuality, its English that is gaining significance in Puerto Rico (50% of population fluent, and its an official language there), but such is not the case with spanish in the U.S - and will never be.
