Why study a romance language?

It's not so much when French women shave.
It's where they shave.
Get it? Ha ha ha.

<<At least French women shave.>>

They don't bathe regularly though...

French women tend to abuse from parfums instead of taking a bath regularly.

<<Romania a nice country? You must be joking right? Romania is a poor country full of dirty gypsies. >>

Not very politically correct.

I just got news about a Romanian doctor/researcher who died. I had spoken to him at length a few times and he was, frankly, brilliant. I've never been to Romania and I hear Moldova is dismal, but the handful of Romanians I've met in the US have been gregarious, smart, and interesting.

The stereotype in America is that French women don't shave their armpits. Aside from that, I can't speak about them... I passed up the French women for the German women :-) lol

Spanish women bathe themselves with sperm.

Haha. I Spain there is the same stereotype about French women. I think that it must be universal. French women are so liberal that they let everything grow free.

I don't know much about American - those overrated guys - stereotypes but what I know is that... in Europe we have bidets and in the USA they don't even know what that word means. Can you imagine the color of American underwear??? Aghhhhh!!!!

You would actually be surprised to see that many of the European people are actually quite clean and have an impeccable dressing sense when they are going out almost anywhere (even if it's to get groceries). However, they don't seem to consider body odor as a big thing for some reason (that being said, many do rely on perfume which is a good thing).

But in terms of dressing and hygiene, as far as I've noticed, they seem to beat the Americans.....

I am a Spanish speaker, but everyone seems to be forgetting that Portuguese is now the 6th most spoken language in the world today (210 million strong on 5 continents). This language is exploding because of Brazil, mainly, but also because of the African countries like Angola and Mozambique where Portuguese is the official language. Even in S. America Spanish speakers are learning Portuguese as a second language, particularly in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay (where Portuguese has been made mandatory from gr. 6 and up). Plus, if you know Portuguese, Spanish will be a breeze, because these are the two most closely related major romance languages today.

I would disagree with dressing as well... Sorry, Europe.
