I saw the message about using the forum to practice our languages. I agree, except I cannot write in BHS. I can pick out words in writing and when listening. I currently do not have any "teachers" for this language, but I have some old materials. I like the sound of this language. Most people choose Polish for beauty, but I like this language and Eastern Slavic languages.

Polish and Russian are the nicest slavonic languages in my opinion. I'm also interested in Slovene because it's the only indo-european language to retain the dual.

Sorbian/Lusatian also retains the dual. It is a Slavic language spoken by maybe 50 000 people in SE Germany. It has two standards, High and Low Sorbian.
