In my view, this thread is not so uncommon or silly. Some people choose to learn a language for certain appealing characterists of the country/countries where this language is spoken. For instance a friend of mine decided to study French because he had been dreaming up this country since his childhood, another acquaintance of mince is learning Russian at university because she adores some Russian writers and poets and the city of Saint Petersburg.
I adore sex robots. Should I learn BASIC or C?
If you adore robots learn Japanese. Japan is the most advanced country in robotics.
Italy and Italian defenitely
Brazil and Brazilian of course.
Quem mora em Pindorama é tupiniquim.
A gente é bem assim.
ARabic = Jordan
Portuguese = Portugal
Italian = Italy
German > Germany
Dutch > Holland
for some of the languages you mention I would make other associations:
German > Austria
English > Australia
Arabic > Morocco
Spanish > Spain
For me just two languages and two countries:
Italian > Italy
French > France
All the others are cheap!
Spanish /Mexico, Argentina, Peru
Swedish/ Sweden/South Finland
Italian / San Marino, Vatican City
French > Vietnam, Lebanon
Persian > Iran
Turkish > Turkey
