And here a few films that might be interesting:
- the Harry Potter series: virtually everyone in the films has a Southern English accent.
- Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

There was a young lad from my old school in it aswell, I think he had one line, so there is at least one Yorkshire accent in one of the Harry Potter films too!

LOL Crumbs! What fun, old chum!......do have some Kruger champers and Mama's best cucu sarnies.

Speak like that in 21st century England and one of two (perhaps both) things will happen:

1 You'll get done over (chances greatly increased in some locations)

2 People will piss themselves laughing (chances 99.99%)

It will help if you use British vocabulary, too:

UK / US
Pavement / Sidewalk
Boot / Trunk
Holiday / Vacation
Football / Soccer
Crisps / Chips
Chips / Fries
Biscuits / Cookies
CV / Resume

and so on...

Keep in mind that it's not only the pronunciation of words that makes you sound british, but also your word choice and "slang."

Of course, that´s why´s so hard for us non-native speakers to sound natural!you should be aware of slang, intonation, rhythm, besides the way u pronounce vowels....well, a lot to bare in mind when speaking I guess :P
