I suppose it's like when people estimate that about 70% of British people are Christians. What this means is that about 70% of British people apparently claim some sort of allegiance to Christianity when asked in surveys; the actual figure of practicing/believing Christians would be much lower, probably closer to 10%.

Mouais, ce qu'il voulait dire, c'est que "musulman" n'est pas le mot exact, les maghrébins présent en France sont pour la plupart pratiquant "à l'occasion" comme la plupart des 80% autre personnes d'origine catolique français, donc je suis d'accord avec Greg, car la france compte une forte minorité musulmane, mais contrairement à ces voisins pas vraiment pratiquante... la laïcité est tres présente en France.
