euphemisms for ''to get drunk''

Hi!

There must be a wide variety of alternative ways of saying ''to get drunk''. I know I can find the expressions in the dictionary, but it would be nice to see how many alternatives people on here could come up with. There must be also some region-specific expressions the meaningof which is unclear to people living outside that particular area. It's fascinating to see how rich a language English is in describing different things.

I'm afraid that would be completely unintelligible on this side of the Atlantic.

To get shit-faced. Although I wouldn't call that a euphemism.

Shitfaced, plastered, tanked, buzzed (for mildly drunk), snockered, fucked up, hammered, blitzed.

Tomorrow night I might have some more -- let me do some field research. ;)
