what's your favourite Slavic language?
Mine is Czech, just can't do anything about it, i like this language, its very beautiful....
Salvic languages aren't popular for learning but anyway possibly someone likes at least one of them?
Russian, but I cannot speak it.
Le polonais. Je connais certains mots. Je peux le lire même sans comprendre ce que je dis.
Excluding my own, Russian to listen to. Polish is my least favourite.
Of all the living Slavic languages, I like Czech the best. My all time favorite is Polabian, however, which has been extinct since about 1750. Spoken in north-central Germany, it was chalk full of Low German, Dutch and Scandinavian loan words as well as orthographical, phonological and syntactical influences from these languages.
I'd say 'Sorbian' , I heard it once in Germany and it sounded very beautiful.Sadly it's slowly disapearing.
My favourite Slavic language is, of course, my native language (Serbo-Croatian, or even better - Bosnian). :D

That's not fair :P
Well, it's true... LOL :) OK, besides my native language, I guess it would be Slovenian and Macedonian. And outside of ex-Yugoslavia, hmm don't know.....I like them all equally.
Sanja - its a hard question to be asked if you speak a Slavic language. It would be better if we got asked about a Latin or Germanic language...
I disagree, Russian is my native, but I can say that I don't like Polish, southern languages and Ukrainian as well. Ukrainian is like a "kolchoz" language, polish is simply disguasting, southern languages are a bit harsh, Czech is da best! (after Russian of course;)
What exactly do you mean by the word "kolchoz" and how you are exactly using it here, Linguist?
