"Mind you"

Another snippet: "I am going to do it tonight" "Well, mind you do". Means: make sure you do, or don't forget to do so.

I haven't said anything untrue or insulting about Travis (unless the truth hurts) or Kevin. Please don't ask me to slip into Welsh while I am writing English; that would be unfair.

Ordinary names spelled differently (Ffyona!!) or odd names (Latrina!!) sound very African-American or low-class generally. It is as if someone with no distinctions or achievements becomes SOMEBODY because the name is spelled differently. I refuse to indulge. If you're a Negro called Leroy, I'm gonna take you down a peg and call you Lee. If you're a Caucasian trailer-trash called Kef, I'm gonna call you Kevin. Don't expect me to pander to your dreams of being SOMEBODY special because of silly name. I won't do it.
