What do you mean by "more advanced emotionally"? Northern Europeans generally seem more capable of controlling their emotions. Don't get me wrong, there are some cultural aspects of Latin Europe I absolutely adore, such as the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere, but I don't see how their emotions could be considered an asset.
