Installation and the front page
Simply run Setup (perfectp-setup.exe or perfectp-sm2004-setup.exe) and follow the instructions on the screen.
To run PerfectPronunciation, use the shortcut on your desktop or in the Start menu. The icon for PerfectPronunciation looks like this:
If you bought PerfectPronunciation as a SuperMemo collection, there will be no desktop icon or shortcut in the Start menu. To run PerfectPronunciation, start your copy of SuperMemo 2004 or higher, choose File | Open collection, and select the PerfectPronunciation.kno file, which is installed in your Documents folder by default.
The front page
When you first run PerfectPronunciation, you can see the front page. The front page has links to the user guide and to the phonetic reference. We suggest that you read the phonetic reference before you start learning with PerfectPronunciation. It will give you knowledge of the sounds used in English words and will enable you to read phonetic transcription (see “Phonetic transcription”).
You can return to the front page by pressing Home on your keyboard. Use the Page Up and Page Down keys to browse the pages. Click Learn to start learning.
