Given your explination on Scottish Gadhlig names, the 'cam', also means 'crooked, or bent' in the Brittonic Celtic languages of Welsh (Cymraeg), Cornish (Kernewek), Cumbric (Cumbrian), Breton (Breizhoneg), Pictish and Gaulish. 'Cam' probably has the same meaning in the other Goidelic Celtic languages of Irish Gaelic and Manx Gaelgeg.
