By the way, has anybody seen 'Whale Rider' in English? A story about the Maori nation, yes, but the pronunciation probably as most citizens of New Zealand. A very moving film, on a whole lot of different levels, and I found the speech really easy to understand, although the accent is different from mine. Some students who saw it in English too said it was quite easy for them to follow.
