Abdomen vs. Belly

What's the difference? Is there a difference between the two words?

Mandarin: I think they are the same thing more or less: Abdomen is the anatomical name for that part of the body containing internal organs (viscera) in the abdominal cavity. Belly is the more familiar name and can also refer to the visible front outer part, the stomach. Informally it is called the tummy as well, especially by kids. It can be called a pot if too much beer is supped LOL.
