Literate in English and not fluent?

Oops, I'm sure it was a typo. I was extremely tired last night when I typed that. And I never said that I'm such an expert in English spelling, I just don't understand why many native speakers are so bad at it.

Oh, and one more typo....When I typed: "For instance, I thought myself how to read Greek even though I don't understand any word", I meant to say "taught", not "thought".
Last night I was exhausted, but now I'm reading my comments again.
