Interesting. I was surprised that I understood some of the Bulgarian! Dang! There really IS something about studying two Slavic languages.

Some people are going to hate this, but this I why I hate sloppy speech in English. When Mariah Carey sings this, she DOES but a "v" on "live", but it's not strong. So is that really Bulgarian? I have no idea!

What's the big deal? Why don't you try and sing a song in Bulgarian? Although I do agree it is a bit silly the way they all sing in English, like they worship us... I mean, even the show has an English name... how pathetic is that?

The show has an English name 'cause it's a franchise. Nobody is worshiping you, rest assured. The song is popular, that's all. There's no big deal, it's just simply funny.

"Why don't you try and sing a song in Bulgarian?" Why would anybody do that?? Americans wouldnt be foolish enough to try to sing a song in Bulgarian - if they cannot speak or pronounce it.

I've heard many Americans sing in Italian and Japanese sing in English and they were terrible too. It happens.

I knew that it WAS English. His voice wasn't bad at all for the song. I'm a pretty hard critic. I come from an opera family. When I consider those whose English is incomprehensible and who sing (Whoa!) way off pitch, then he isn't bad.
