I'm not familiar with "Ladefoges" but there is a /'lAd@fog@d/

/'Cjuz/

At least I think... I know for sure I got "Ladefoged" and "Abercrombie" right.

Thanks, Skippy. It's better now. But if you can write in IPA, that would be perferct. I don't know what stands for /A/ or, say, /U/ in you transcription. Consonants are more or less clear...

Skippy was using X-SAMPA, described here:

(and I would use a broader transcription for Hughes and render it as /hju:z/)

Does SAMPA has any advantages to IPA? Does it worth studying?
