Asking about 'pass'

Hello,

Is it common to say something like "Everyday, I pass Blue Street to get to the office". I use a public transportation to get to the office. If I cannot use the word "pass", what word is the more appropriate?

Thank you.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

how about "Everyday, I cross Blue Street to get to the office' or 'Everyday, I pass by Blue Street to get to the office'.

Laura is right. I automatically added 'by' in there without even thinking. Pass by is what I would say.

So, "pass" only is not correct? I don't understand with "cross". Because I don't cross the street (moving from one side to another side).

If you don't actually cross the street, but just go alongside it on your way, that is "passing". And you can "pass by" or just "pass" -- either phrasing works fine.
