French: Canada (Quebec, New Brunswick, Northern Ontario, Some parts of Prairie and Maritime Provinces): 9.2 million people; (Haiti, Matinique, Guadeloupe): 10 million. Very important internationally

Spanish: Mexico, USA, Canada: some 160 million people (35%). Second language of the area. Not so important internationally.
