"I may consider Japanese is more useful than English. "
Li Dahua: What's the percentage of people who speak Japanese in Taiwan? The people to whom I spoke in Japanese were in their 60s, which means they probably got educated in Japanese when Japan had invaded Taiwan. Interesting is that people in Taiwan have a nice attitude towards Japanese whereas in Korea I was stared at by people, who told me I should speak in English...Then I told them I'm not American and speak in the language I feel comfortable with->Japanese.

The one's you've never heard of.

Anyway, after English, you can't really say which two are the "most important." As others have pointed out, it depends on where you want to go and what you want to do. The other big languages are more limited regionally.
