Pre, Post-

Obviously, a noun comes after these prefixes. Post-war, post-arrest, pre-murder, etc.
But what if the noun ends with ing? Do you still add the 'ing?'
For example, would you say 'post-kill' (which doesn't sound alright to me) or 'post-killing?'
Also, in elaborations (ones with examples in particular) on this topic of these 2 prefixes is greatly appreciated.

Get more input, because if you were getting more input you would see that phrases like "post-kill" and "post-killing" simply do not exist in the English.

English is a flexible language that is changing all the time. An expression like 'post-kill' might sound a little unusual, but I do not think there is anything wrong with it.

On the other hand 'post killing' does sound wrong.
