What other forums do you hang out on, mjd?

Because I want a word with you.

Yes, come on fuckwits! Impersonate me!

America's a piece of shit! Did I hurt your feelings?

I think the forums would be Portugese language and literature forums, although you would need to confirm that with him.

Yeah, you can flush the UK too.

America's cronies.

Seriously though, mjd...

Aidan,

It looks like that you have already been told - Portugese language and literature forums.

You can have a word with me here, Aidan.

I don't particularly care about your opinions of America, nor do you hurt my feelings--ever.

The day you care to have an actual discussion about English or language in general, you know where to find me--right here on Antimoon. Thus far, I can't say I have been too impressed with what you've put forth.

As for other forums, Guest213 is pretty accurate in what he wrote. I also lurk on some forums related to my profession.

That is all you'll get from me.

Have a good one.

Dear mjd,

Why did you delete my comments about how much I hate British banter? Is Aiden the only one allowed to dislike certain variants of English? Why delete my comments but not Aiden's which are just as if not more offensive?

Yours truly,
dumbass

I think substance is more important than form when evaluating the validity of forum posts.

To permit posts that are 99% insults solely because they contain a smattering of language-related discussion seems to me to be elevating form over substance. Obviously the purpose of such a post is not to contribute to the forum.

While I do not remember your post, it is likely that if fit the description I just gave. If not, it's possible it was accidentally deleted with the slew of homophobic posts that followed Aidan's. If the latter is the case, then I apologize, although I don't really understand why you or anyone else for that matter enjoys rambling on about hating a particular people, dialect, etc. That kind of behavior makes you no better than our friend Aidan.

Either way, I answered the question posed to me. I see no point in keeping this thread alive; the chance of this developing into a civil discussion about language is virtually zero.
