forehead pronunciation and message for Tom.

How do you say "forehead"? I pronounce it as a compound, but I've heard that it's pronounced more like "forrid" by some.

I think Tom should add topics about forums (e.g. trolls, spamming) and the antimoon forum itself as examples of "messages not related to languages". A lot of people post topics about forums and the antimoon forum not seeming to know that they are inappropriate.

There is a poem where "forehead" rhymes with "horrid".

Hmm, seems like your post is a topic (partially) about the antimoon forum. Bit of conundrum, isn't? Can't complain about people discussing issues other than language without yourself discussing an issue other than language.

Perhaps we should have a subforum on antimoon for discussion about the forum itself. It seems silly that topics about the forum wouldn't be allowed anywhere.

Yes, in some speakers and more commonly in some areas, 'H' sounds like in forehead can change. Often, people do not devoice completely, or sometimes not at all. The vowel stays the same though, so forehead becomes fore'ead.
