In "There Must Be an Angel" by Eurythmics, the first lines are "No one on earth could feel like this / I'm thrown and overblown with bliss."

I understand that "overblown" was used there because it sounds nice when placed after "thrown" and all those "b" sounds create a nice tune, but doesn't that word carry a negative connotation? Since Annie Lennox is descrbing a positive experience, wouldn't "overfilled" be a better word choice?

'overblown' doesn't have a negative connotation as far as I'm concerned...it means she's just overwhelmed to the point of falling over/collapsing with joy OR that bliss has blown over her (like a warm wind). Either way, it adequately conveys what she's trying to say.
