coherent words

I'm a Chinese and am writing an argumentation in English. I want to use some coherent words at the beginning of each paragraph. I want to put forward 7 points. Can I say "First", "Second", "Third", "Besides", "Moreover", "And", "Finally" when I list the 7 points? Or must I use "First", "Second", "Third","Fourth","Fifth", "Sixthy", and "At last"?
Thank you very much.

lucc,

Re: Presenting 'points':

There are several ways you can say it ; you can say:

1) First; First of all; My first point is; The first point I would like to make is:

2) Secondly; My second point is:

3) Third point! Thirdly, My third point is:

4) Fourth point!; The fourth thing I would like to say is: ...

5) Fifth point! ; Point number five! etc. ...

6) The sixth point or the sixth thing that I would like to point out...

7) My seventh and final point is:

Vary them a little bit for each point you make so you don't sound too mechanical to your audience. This might cause them to go to sleep.

I would use "First of all," "Secondly," "As a third point," and then phrases that do not use numerical words, basically, because it sounds extremely mechanical.

What about phrases like "additionally," "also," "after this," "and," "finally," "then," "next," etc?

Keep in mind, though, that this depends on what you are writing.
