Ok, I'm gonna ask 2 simple questions about NYC English:

1) Are T's and D's dental like in Italian ?

2) What about the sound "oo" in words like: two, do, fool, school, move etc..is it high, back and rounded vowel the same as Italian /Spanish / u / (musica, tu..) or is it fronted like in L .A.?

Wells says that saying 'toidy toid' for 'thirty third' is generally only found in those born before about 1950.
