Far as I know New York English traditionally lack the tory-tirrent merger.
But recently I've gotten the impression that relatively young New Yorkers
(even non-rhotic ones) merge them.
Thus sɔəri, hɔərəbəl instead of sɑri, hɑrəbəl.
Is it true?

General American: ['sɑri], but ['horəbəl]
(''orange, foreign, forest, Florida'' also have the rounded vowel)

['sori] and ['hɑrəbəl] are regional pronunciations (provincialisms)
