A. Mr. Jones works in York. Mrs. Jones has just had a baby, so she IS NOT WORKING at the moment.

B. Mr. Jones works in York. Mrs. Jones has just had a baby, so she DOESN'T WORK at the moment.

Which of them, A or B is more natural or more appropriate?

Choose A. Option B is kind of funny, actually. It isn't wrong, but it can be miscontrued to mean that Mrs. Jones is broken and is in need of repair. :-D

I did so, just wanted to be sure. B seemed to sound weird to me.

Thank you.
