"to my eyes" or "in my eyes"

which one is correct??
also i'd like to ask that if it's appropriate to say "to(in) many people's eyes" in english. |
| If you're talking about an object getting into someone's eyes... then "in my eyes" would be right. |
oh, I should have given out the context.
"To my eyes our current president is an even more incapable person than the last one" any comments? |
It's "In my eyes"
To my eyes in that situation would sound strange. |

The usual expressions are:
IN my eyes TO my ears IN my mind (can sometimes be TO my mind, but that's less common) Yes, you can say "in many people's eyes". |
| I should add that things can also be ON your mind, but that's slightly different than IN your mind. |
