What features does the Florida accent possess?
Florida Accent
From my experience, people from central Florida, namely Orlando and Tampa raise their short a to e@ or I@ before n and m.
I don't think Florida really has an accent of its own. The North of Florida probably has a Southern accent, but the southern part has so many non-native residents that I don't think you could say it has one particular accent.

This is common in most of North America. It is called {-tensing ('{' should be an ae ligature).
