I do not understand what the top here means. There is a bottom, too, isn’t there? Please enlighten me. |

| Ya got me. I guess it either means literally at the higher end of the street, or at the more fashionable end. |

| I think it's similar to phrase "go down/up this street" |

| Well, if someone said that to me here in the States, I'd assume they mean at the top of the hill the street is on. |
