Dictionary of idioms English-BrazilianPortuguese?

This list of idioms was taken from a humorous web site. The translation is very bad in some idioms and translated literally which makes them look like having no sense at all, others are proverbs or just badly translated phrases.

As a comparison English also has this kind of idioms:

“Horse Around”
“raining cats and dogs”
“Cook up a storm”

They can look ridiculous or funny when translated literally when not knowing their metaphoric meaning .

Explanation of some idioms:

Hot saw hot see.
Quente viu quente vê.

Correction:

Quem te viu e quem te vê.
Who saw you and who sees you.(literally)

It is told to some one that changed a lot : was poor and became rich, was fat and became thin etc.

The meaning is: having known you before(seen you) and looking at you know what a change!

******

Between, my well.
Entre, meu bem.

Correction:

Entre means “between” and also “come in” .
“meu bem” should be translated as my dear or honey…..In this case the translation should be :
