I don't know how to express. We can see them in the pond. Their color is green. But I don't know whether they are the same with the one people eat or not.

Seaweed? Like Japanese nori? Underwater plant with large leaves that grown in the ocean, and is eaten all over the Far East?

Algae is the soft, slimy green matted stuff that grows in standing water. I don't think it gets eaten much!

Moss is a low-growing primitive plant that looks like green carpet and is found on land. I don't think it gets eaten much, either.
