My friends dont know how to pronounce this word is very weird

It's pronounced something like "kwah - yer"

It's pronounced ["kwaI@`] (American) or ["kwaI@] (British), as if it were "quire", rhyming with "hire". This should be on the English forum, though.

I pronounce it like Lazar, but without an r since I'm non-rhotic.

In french exist a word with similar orthography, I pronounce "ʃwaʁ" or "/SwaR/" (the french "choir" verb: "tomber", to fall)

Can you pronounce the word quiet correctly? If you can, then learning choir will be easy.

Pronounce choir using the first syllable of quiet "Kwai" and then add "er" (ie. banker, baker, hater, teacher.
