Secondary education is only junior high and high school. Elementary school is primary education. Anyway, in the United States, the term K-12 education is sometimes used to mean all three.

In India, KG-1, KG-2, from 1-5 education years is called primary education. From 6-10 is called secondary education. From 11-12 is called: Higher Secondary Education. After that , it is called only "University" education. Want to combine all 12 years of education then it is called "High School" education.
