Have any of you noticed people around you, maybe in your own dialect, that are starting to speak certain words differently? I've noticed that many people areound me have starting changing the way they say some words.
Maybe Im just noticing this because before I never really knew the difference, but where I live, many people are beginning to pronounce with as [wID] instead of [wIT].
Also, 'have' (used in the context 'I have to...') have changed to [h{f]. I think the devoicing is because of the v being before the t.
