Is this sentence ambiguous?

"I want to buy a new suit, but I don't think it fit."

Wasn't that already posted in the fit/fitted thread, where it belongs?

Better put that "did use to" back in it's original place before anyone notices, Kef.

That's different, because the thread it originally appeared in was about a different topic. On the other hand, your post fits perfectly in a topic that we already have, and has already been posted here. What's the point of starting a different thread about it?

Kef's moderating again.

Dear Kef, plase stop moderating. Pos is right, you have a tendecy to do that. My interest is not between "fitted" and "fit", but between the two expressions "(think) it fit" and "(think) it fit".

Me: I do not think it fit that you keep moderating.

Kef: Moderating looks good on me. I think it fit.

See the difference?
