Pronunciation of the word "And" with vowel shift??

Hello, I'm not a native speaker of English.
But I somehow pronounce the word "And" in a certain way.
Could you listen to my voice file to identify its feature?

I want to find out whether it is Californian vowel shift or Northern cities vowel shift or whatever.

I'm studying phonology these days, so I need your feedback.
Please help me with a cherry on top!

The main thing I noticed is that you're emphasizing 'and' waaaaay more than anyone normally would . I know you're doing that for the recording, but you should keep in mind that for most native speakers, 'and' is nothing more than [n=] or [@~] or something like that, unless especially emphatic. It sounds fairly normal, other than that, but the diphthong you're using seems a little wider than is common in GenAm, something like [I@], rather than the [E@] that I use. This is characteristic of New York City and parts of the NCVS area (though in the NCVS, /{/ is raised in all environments). There may be other areas with this wide diphthong, but I can't think of any right now.

"and" for me is /{nd/ when completely stressed, note this this does not rhyme with "hand" for me which is /hE@nd/.
