Iv been there several times and a lot of Americans there. Iv been there several times and a lot of Americans were there. I wanna go to China, I heard that a lot of Americans there I wanna go to China, I heard that a lot of Americans are there with "be" or without? im confused

For the 2nd one, I'd write: "I wanna go to China -- I heard that a lot of Americans are there." -or- "I wanna go to China. I heard that a lot of Americans are there." -or- "I wanna go to China; I heard that a lot of Americans are there."
