Which intonation is more difficult to imitate and reproduce?

Every language has its own peculiar intonation but some languages seem harder to imitate than others.

Cantonese Chinese has very complicated intonation. They have 7 tones, I believe; which is bad enough, but they are constantly modified by the neighboring tones. AHHHH!

In Europe I'd say Swedish and Italian

Languague intonation is a very interesting topic. People generally talk only about grammar and phonetics. Each language has got its own intonation but some intonation sound more peculiar and difficult than others

What an interesting and informative thread. Does anyone mind if I delete this?

no

Why do you want to delete this. All those threads about the Spanish language are much more endless and inconsistent
Guest   Wed Dec 05, 2007 5:30 pm GMT
This thread isn't about Spanish. Obviously you can delete it .

They started again because people are mostly interested in Spanish, not French or other languages.
