1. If a film is dubbed, it is a special version where the actors’ voices are in another language. Dubbed versions of English-language films are for people who don’t understand English.
   The film was poorly dubbed — the words didn’t match the lip movement.

   I wanted to hear Jack Nicholson’s voice in the movie, but unfortunately the theater only played a dubbed version.
