Andre, Could you explain the verb endings in the futur tense and past tense So...I am going to school next week. You are He is etc. And...I have went to school last year. You have He has etc. In Afrikaans of course.....oh...please ;)

Andre, thanks for your post! I spent July-December 2004 living and studying in Pietermartizburg, KZN. I'm an American of multiracial background, so whenever i found myself in Durbs or Cape Town people would automatically assume I was a coloured and speak to me in Afrikaans, particularly in Bo-kaap =).
Where are you from in SA?
