Eastern Europeans absolutelly hate Russia, particularly Ex-Soviet states. No chance for Russian there.

Eastern Europeans love the West because of the money that they could give them in the form of investments and aid. But once the expectation of the Eastern Europeans are not met they will get frustrated and felt like abandoned and betrayed and will turn to Russia again and start to badmouth the west and hate them more than "they hate Russia" now.

Eastern Europeans are double faced.

No, they don't love the west either.

Past is past and communism is over.

Have you ever thought that if a rougue country invades Eastern Europe, which country would be the very first one to rescue Eastern Europe? US and Western Europe? No, it would be Russia.

Remember that Russia is being looked as the big brother of Pan-Slavic club. Can the US or Western Europe play that role as Slavic country? If you say no, then there's something wrong with how you weigh this matter.

You could be right, but I imagine it would turn out to be more of a 'USA rescuing Iraq' kind of situation.

What rogue country invades Eastern Europe?

Think again! Does Eastern Europe have oil?

On a second thought I think I found two such rogue countries: Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean. If Pacific attacks Russia will help aniway. If Atlantic attacks... I hope the waters will be stoped by Pyrenees.
tovarishch jirinovski   Mon Apr 21, 2008 4:28 am GMT
I meant stopped
Guest   Mon Apr 21, 2008 4:44 am GMT
Nonsense, tovarisch! Talk to the waters in English or to the Pyrenees mountains then.
tovarishch jirinovski   Mon Apr 21, 2008 4:57 am GMT
Nope! I will talk with Pyrenees mountains in spanish since all the spaniards will be there, struggling to reach the peaks of the mountains!
Guest   Mon Apr 21, 2008 5:04 am GMT
how do you call the oceans in other languages?
I mean, does it still mean "Pacific"?

Haz otro hilo pelotudo. Estamos demasiado ocupados discutiendo la dominación del español como lengua internacional, que es mucho más extensiva que la del francés.

Eastern Europe is mostly part of the EU now (except Bel and Ukr). So they don't really depend on the West but are basically a part of it now through the EU, which is a politically "western" style organization/union.

What Europe does depend upon Russia for is oil and gas, but they and the US are trying to find ways around that, like through Caucaus Mountain area via Azerjaiban and Georgia.
