Spain is increasing in population, but thanks to non whites. Italy has much more white population by far than Spain and these are who bring prosperity, not the hindus and gypsies and their children who reproduce like rabbits and drain resources and public funds.

<< HELLO SMELLY FROGS,¿Spanish is no money?, ¿are you sure about that soplapoyez?. English GDP in the world is at 17'5 trillion $; Spanish is at 4'3+1'2(hispanics at USA)+1'8(Lusophony)=7'3 trillion $.

Japanese is at 4'9, German 4'5, French 3, Mandarín 2'5(all Chinese at 4'8),....etc.

Spanish is too many money, and in 15 years English GDP will be the same than Spanish one,¿OK?. >>

Of course because of Hispanic America. But wait for the next few years and Francophone will overtake Hispanic America in prosperity leaving the Hispanic world behind in GDP and exports.

Spain and Mexico the leading hispanic nations are still laggard in GDP and export. Non of the hispanic nations are considered qualified enough to be admitted in G8.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Future is French, English, Russian & Portuguese. Hindi is very difficult and Spanish is dead like Chinese in only 10-15 years.
Blue Tier   Tue Feb 16, 2010 10:11 am GMT
<< If English GDP grows at 1-2% and Spanish at 4-6% like by the now then in only 15 years Spanish GDP around the World= English GDP around the World. But Spanish(+Portuguese)will be spoken by 900 million people and English only by 380 million. >>

Portuguese speaking world belongs to Francophone world not Hispanic.

You're a bullshit Red Echelon. You keep on including Portuguese speaking world in Hispanic world when they throw off the hispanic yolk. Hispanic world is a a shit to the lussophone world.

Hey Spanish LOCOteur.

Only 2 Hispanic banks are in the top 50. They're rank are 40 and 42 (Previously 43 and 38) in assets. Their ASSets are diminishing and both will soon be out of top 50.

Blue Tier,

The Portuguese language is very similar to Spanish. So, Spanish and Portuguese can be considered together, like Hindi and Urdu. We are speaking about languages, not politics.

French is not an important language nowadays. Several poor countries are members of the Francophonie because France and Quebec give a lot of money to them.

These countries have French as second language or foreign one, but when France doesn't want to give them any money, they will study English, Arabic, Chinese or Spanish, true World languages of the XXI century.

Thanks to that, French is a stagnated language. So, if France doesn't spend these amazing amount of money to promote French, this language would be much worse, it would be in free fall.

The problem of French is that even speding a lot of money the language is nowadays out of the top ten languages.

The French Government and Francophonie see that Chinese, English, Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Indonesian, Urdu, Bengali and Portuguese are more spoken and important actually than French.

That is very frustrating and they know that it is impossible to recover the "grandeur" of this language.

They know that French is becoming a regional important language. It doesn't matter. Italians have too a regional one and they aren't crazy and nervous all.

So, take it easy and study English, Chinese, Arabic or Spanish.

Please, don't copy this text. Thanks in advance.

Red Echelon,

The Portuguese language is very similar to French in phonolgy and lots of French loanwords. So, French and Portuguese can be considered together, like Mandarin and Cantonese. We are speaking about languages, not politics.

Spanish was/is not an important language and will never be. Several poor countries are members of the Hispanidad because Spain cannot give a lot of money to them because it is also poor.

These countries have Spanish as native language, but when Spain doesn't want to give them any money because it has not actually, they will switch to English, French, Portuguese or Russian true World languages of the XXI century after disentigrating into numerous Spanishes. Thanks to that, Spanish is a stagnated language. So, if Spain cannot spend these amazing amount of money to preserve Spanish, this language would be much worse, it would be in in total erosion.

The problem of Spanish is that even it is hugely promoted but without money, the language is out of the top international languages.

The Spanish Government, Hispanidad and Instituto Cervantes see that Russian, English, French, German, Italian, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, and Indonesian have more non-native speakers and more important actually than Spanish.

That is very frustrating and they know that it is impossible to achieve the "Esplendor" of this language.

They know that Spanish is becoming a regional important language. It doesn't matter. Chinese have too a regional one and they aren't crazy and nervous all.

So, take it easy and study English, French, Russian or Arabic.

Please, don't post nonsense and baseless text. Thanks in advance.

World's Top Ten Banks: the rankings quoted above are outdated beyond any recognition. The current one is:

1 Royal Bank of Scotland UK
2 Deutsche Bank Germany
3 Barclays Bank UK
4 BNP Paribas France
5 Credit Agricole Group France
6 UBS Switzerland
7 JP Morgan Chase & Co US
8 Societe Generale France
9 Bank of America Corp US
10 UniCredit Italy

The largest bank is British but had to be bailed out and is currently run by the government, Soviet style.
French companies are dominant, all in fine shape and with the best yields.

French is ABSOLUTELY DEAD. For example, only 5 in the 150 richest citiest in the World(by GDP)speak French. Spanish is spoken by 18(+Portuguese=28 cities),English by 25, Chino 11(all languages of China, because Mandarín only 6 cities),....etc. French is dead, and English too in 15 years. http://www.citimayors.com/statistics/richest-cities.2005.html And this list is made in 2.005; today probably Spanish+Portuguese are in 32 cities, English in 22,French in 4,....etc.; Spanish is the future without discussion.
